Maximals 2:
Optimus Primal
First appearance: The Reformatting
Profile: Optimus Primal was the leader of the maximals during the beast wars and
back on cybertron was responsible for locating the other surviving maximals. He was also
responsible for finding the oracle which reformatted all the original maximals. Optimus
Primal was the first transformer to master the art of transformation after the
reformatting and in the early days was single handedly responsible for the safety of his
fellow maximals. He also taught them all how to transform. Optimus is linked to the oracle
and as such is able to reformat other transformers into the techno organic forms.
Unfortunatly he feels a deep sense of responsibility that he is responsible for the way
cybertron is and for a while it made him mad and wanting revenge on megatron. He
eventually learnt to accept that he wasn't responsible for it and in the end brought about
the great reformatting of cybertron.

Cheetor
First appearance: The Reformatting
Profile: Cheetor is the same young warrior from the beast wars but he has matured
some, gone is the reckless transformer and instead he has become a great leader. Cheetor
was the second maximal to transform. Despite his new found leadership qualities he still
looks up to optimus and longs to make him proud although that didn't stop him from making
command decissions when optimus made some bad decissions. Cheetor is equiped with a pair
of swords that can deflect weapons fire, cut through vehicons and can be used as a glider.

Black Arachnia
First appearance: The Reformatting
Profile: Black Arachnia is again a survivor from the beast wars. when the maximals
were separatedd upon landing she made her way underground and it was here that she was
found by the other maximals. She was the third member of the original team to learn to
transform. Black Arachnia witnessed memory flashes when she was in robot mode that led her
to learn of silverbolt, she initially thought he was thrust but later found out that he
was in fact jetstorm. Black arachnia has an array of weapons at her disposal, these
include two types of web (one for paralyzing the enemy and the other to be used as rope),
she can create electric bursts to destroy enemies and she has web stars which form a web
around whoever she hits.

Rattrap
First appearance: The Reformatting
Profile: Rattrap never wanted to be in the beast wars and when they arrived back
from cybertron he was looking forward to no more fighting. Unfortunatly things didn't work
out the way rattrap wanted and after the reformatting he was unable to transform for a
long time, constantly needing to be saved by his teammates. Rattrap wasn't to pleased
either when he finally did transform, he was expecting some firepower but unfortunatly he
didn't have any. However rattrap soon learnt that he was more valuable doing what he does
best, hacking into computers and generally being a spy. His tail interface can connect to
almost any computer and if he can't hack into it it can't be hacked. Rattrap was the
member of the team who learnt what really happened when they landed when he interfaced
with tankor, he also learnt that tankor was actually rhinox and was responsible for on
numerous occasions for the maximals safe exit from a battle.

Nightscream
First appearance: Forbidden Fruits
Profile: Nightscream was a survivor from the technological virus created by
megatron. When the drones went to capture him he fell into the centre of cybertron. A
built in DNA scanner scanned the area and together with the organic core gave him his bat
form. Nightscream hid for what seemed like ages before he finally found the newly
reformatted maximal team. He watched them learning to transform before he was spotted,
initially they thought he was a completly organic creature but were later prooved wrong.
After joining the team nightscream became a valuable member although because he wasn't
involved in the beast wars he isn't as close as the others and often finds it difficult to
understand their willingness to follow optimus primal. He also after a rough start formed
a friendship with rattrap as well as a totally organic beast called savage noble.
Nightscream posseses fangs that he can fire to drain the energy of other robots as well as
a supersonic blast that can destroy vehicons.

Botanica
First appearance: Home Soil
Profile: Like the maximals under the command of optimus primal botanica was on an
exploration expedition and like them her and her crew took the forms of the living forms
around which happened to be plants. The only difference being that botanica and her crew
were successfull in their exploration and weren't dragged into the beast wars. Botanica
was at first sceptical about fighting but after contacting the oracle she saw that
Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost and so she joined the fighting. Botanica also
saved the maximals life when obsidian and strika had them surrounded and at the end of the
beast machines she was close to rattrap.

Silverbolt
First appearance: In Darkest Night
Profile: Originally jetstorm silverbolt was returned to his normal self by black
arachnia but he was unlike his previous self, he was filled with hatred at megatron, not
because he made him do the things that jetstorm did but because he enjoyed it. The first
time silverbolt met megatron he had to be sedated by black arachnia. However his friends
were not phased by this as they knew that the old silverbolt was in there somewhere.
Silverbolt possesses the ability to throw sharp explosive feathers from his back. After
the great reformatting and the demise of megatron silverbolt seemed to return to his
normal, honorable self and returned to his romance with black arachnia.
